Job summary

AXIA Global Talent Solutions in the United Arab Emirates seeks a proactive Business Development Executive to generate new business from small and medium-sized companies in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have IT sales experience in UAE, with aptitude for cold calling and learning about new IT service offerings.

The primary focus is adding new clients, while service training and pre-sales support are provided to design solutions and proposals.

Qualifications

• Minimum UAE-based IT sales experience
• Experience selling to SMEs in the UAE
• Willingness to do cold outreach and prospecting
• Strong communication and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Research prospective SME and mid-market customers in UAE
• Qualify prospects, arrange meetings and understand business requirements
• Make regular cold calls and outbound prospecting to create new opportunities
• Generate leads through email, LinkedIn, networking, referrals and direct customer engagement
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities
• Work with internal technical teams to prepare proposals and quotations
• Present solutions to business decision-makers and support commercial negotiations
• Maintain accurate CRM records, activity notes, forecasts and next actions
• Prepare a quarterly sales plan covering target sectors, prospecting activity, pipeline priorities and expected closures for management review
• Develop additional opportunities within customers acquired by the executive
• Represent the organisation in industry forums
