Job summary

Client of Taj HR in the UAE seeks an experienced Business Development Manager Events to drive revenue across government, semi-government, corporate and private sectors in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

You will leverage an established UAE client network, develop BD strategies, lead proposals and negotiations, and collaborate with operations to ensure successful project delivery.

3+ years in BD/Sales within events or marketing with a proven KPI track record is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in BD/Sales within Events, Exhibitions, Advertising or Marketing.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE market and an active client network preferred.
• Based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai with proven track record of meeting sales KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities within the UAE market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and potential clients.
• Leverage existing client network across government, semi-government, corporate and private sectors.
• Generate leads, arrange client meetings and convert prospects into opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations and commercial offers.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals while achieving sales targets and KPIs.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular BD reports.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and opportunities within the UAE events industry.
• Collaborate with account management, creative and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.
