- Construction MechanicalCompletion Junior Engineer(Turnover Engineer) ensures theexecution of all aspects related to mechanical completion, both in homeoffice and at site.
Duties and responsibilities
In case of MILEMATE utilization in a specificproject, he / she will follow all MILEMATE activities for the specificproject, interfacing with mechanical completion leader.
At site, operatively reporting to the mechanicalcompletion coordinator or, if not present, to the construction QualityManager, his / her main duties and responsibilities are the following:
- To receive (by discipline supervisors or quality constructioninspectors) original punch list, recording them on the punch list recordlogbook and assuring their insertion in MM.
- To take care of the punch list progress, maintaining the updatedreport of the closed items, monitoring the status of pending prioritypunch list in each subsystem and keeping construction managementinformed, and addressing discipline supervisors / subcontractors punchlist close-out as per given priority by the pre-commissioning group.
- To take care of the provision of punch lists printouts tosupervisors, as well as of the collection of approval signatures fromthe responsible, once the field works have been completed.
- To monitor discipline completion, issuing the disciplineacceptance certificate according to handover procedure, when adiscipline is completed within a subsystem.
- To monitor field completion dossier status for each subsystem /system, issuing the subsystem / system ready for commissioningcertificate according to handover procedure, when the subsystem / systemis completed.
- Assign subsystems / check sheets to each components / TAGSaccording to approved ITPs.
- Participate to weekly meetings with construction / commissioningteams for hand over completion according to commissioningprioritization.
- Verify that all the punch points are properly characterized inthe punch list forms before inputting them to MILEMATE.
- Prepare all daily / weekly / monthly mechanical completionreports that are shared with construction / commissioning teams.
- Lead construction team to handover DAC (Discipline AcceptanceCertificate).
- Lead commissioning team to handover MCC (Mechanical CompletionCertificate) to the client to implement commissioning activities.
- Issue DAC, MCC and RFSU with proper certificates and documents.
- Prepare the final dossier (field inspection certificationdossier).
- Help the mechanical completion coordinator / engineers topopulate the data into MILEMATE.
- Scan all the completed check sheets to MILEMATE! Insert / closethe punch lists in MILEMATE, archiving properly all the documents.

Experience
- Minimum of 5 years ofexperience preferably within the construction or oil and gas industry.
- Relevant experience in 3major EPC projects; oil & gas, petrochemical sector.
