Hours / Rotation
Rotation of 60 days on site and 10 days off (paid) & 2 days traveling (paid).

- Commissioning Electrical Assistant executes the activities pertaining to his /her discipline in compliance with the quality requirements, health / environmental/ safety regulations and following the stated procedures.
- He / she reports to the Commissioning Electrical Supervisor.
- He / she is assigned to the project by AVIMP Head of Department.
Duties and responsibilities
- To implement the pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures for electrical equipment.
- Execute with the assigned crew from the subcontractor all the activities pertaining to the discipline.
- Ensure effective utilization of commissioning manpower and consumables.
- Ensure the execution of vendor’s specialists field activities with the assigned resources from the subcontractor as per vendor’s representative plan.
- Perform Checklist as per supervisor instructions.
- Prepare the forms for all tests to be performed and ensure submission of the certificates, duly signed by involved parties for final handover to the certification engineer (QA / QC).
- To assure the proper safety procedures are followed during cable tests (meggering, induction test), test of motors, transformers, relays, electrical panels etc.
- Can be the authorized person designated by the site manager to receive or issue a permit to work according to the project permit to work procedure.
- Assistance to supervisor for expediting of pending punch list Items in accordance with commissioning superintendent (COT) priorities.
- Assistance to supervisor for coordination and supervision of construction support activities during the performance of the pre-commissioning, commissioning activities.
Knowledge & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in construction of large oil & gas plants / EPC projects.
