Job summary

Technogym is seeking a hands-on Tender & Buyer Specialist (Arabic Speaker) to drive RFx submissions, manage timelines, and maintain a robust bid library. You will coordinate responses, edits, and formatting of tender documents to ensure high quality, timely, and commercially accurate submissions for diverse suppliers and customers.

In this role you will lead project timelines, collaborate with Sales and Finance, and report on tender metrics.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in procurement with tender/RFx experience; at least 3 in direct RFP/RFI delivery.
• Arabic language is mandatory.
• Experience with government & military tenders is an added advantage.
• Advanced MS Office and CRM knowledge.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the RFx process day-to-day with accountability for submission quality.
• Lead pre-tender sign-off at appropriate authority levels.
• Create and manage timelines for each response to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain and update the online bid library with refreshed materials.
• Report tender win/loss rates and values to the Sales/MD teams.
• Support with writing and contractual projects as directed by senior management.
• Record completed tenders and clarifications in the library; update material as needed.

Your Role

We are looking for a hands-on and results-driven Tender & Buyer Specialist ( Arabic Speaker) who will cement and build upon the recent improvements in processesand the win rate to ensure all Technogym tender submissions are timely high quality and commercially correct.

In this role you will primarily be responsible for the project management (timeline creation and follow-ups) and editing and formatting tender response documents as and when they are required by customers.

You will also be responsible for maintaining an online bid library updating and rewriting materials as time permits and for reporting on tender win/loss rates and values. *Please note that tendering experience is a mandatory requirement for this role. Unfortunately candidates who do not have relevant tendering experience will not be shortlisted.

Your Impact

• Manage the RFx process on a day-to-day basis with ultimate accountability for submission quality
• Manage the pre-tender sign-off process at the correct level of authority
• Create and manage the timeline for each individual response to ensure timely delivery
• Compile manage and interpret tender statistics on an ongoing basis
• Statistics report at Commercial Meetings as directed by the Managing Director
• Make presentations to the Sales Team at Sales Meetings as directed by the Managing Director
• Record all completed tenders in the tender library with clarifications
• Identify new material/information to record in the tender library updating existing material as necessary
• Provide wider assistance with writing/contractual projects on an ad hoc basis as directed by the Sales Director/Finance Director/Managing Director
• Carry out post-tender management and close down as required such as saving contracts/ decision letters to SharePoint and reporting lessons learned
• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers for Non-Technogym Equipment and stay informed about market change.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors negotiating favorable payment terms
• Monitor vendor performance and address any issues to ensure continuous improvement.
• Negotiate prices terms and agreements with suppliers to achieve the best possible cost savings without compromising quality.
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure budgetary compliance and cost-effectiveness
• Identify and assess potential risks in the supply chain and implement strategies to mitigatethese risks

About You

What you should bring:

• 3-5 years experience in procurement department and tender and RFx-related role with at least 3 of these involved in the direct completion of RFPs/RFIs
• Arabic Language is mandatory
• Previous experience managing government & military tendersis an added advantage
• Extensive experience in RFx completion
• Advanced use of MS Office knowledge of CRM
• Ability to communicate at all levels including presentation skills
