Job summary

Careers International in Dubai is seeking a knowledgeable automotive service engineer to coordinate with the principal technical support team and resolve complex issues while ensuring manufacturer standards are followed.

You will support foremen and technicians during vehicle preparation, repairs, and troubleshooting, guiding fault diagnosis to improve efficiency and documenting findings per ISO procedures.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering is required.
• 3–4 years of experience in a similar OEM/dealership role.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and advanced technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the principal technical support team to resolve complex technical issues.
• Provide technical support to Foremen and technicians during vehicle preparation, repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Guide technicians through fault diagnosis and improve repair efficiency.
• Support Service Advisors with technical explanations for customer concerns and repair requirements.
• Manage technical support cases, prepare reports, and ensure timely closure of issues.
• Conduct vehicle inspections, road tests, and final quality checks before delivery.
• Investigate comeback jobs and customer complaints, documenting findings as per ISO procedures.
• Provide on-site technical assistance during emergency breakdowns when required.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, QHSEMS requirements, and workplace safety practices.
