Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers professionally and guide them through the complete vehicle service process from reception to delivery.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and record accurate vehicle symptoms, repair requests, service needs, and appointment details.
- Coordinate with workshop, parts, and service operations teams to ensure repair requirements are clearly understood and actioned.
- Explain maintenance work, repair recommendations, costs, timelines, and value‑added services in a clear and transparent manner.
- Follow up on vehicle repair status and provide timely updates to customers throughout the service journey.
- Support right‑first‑time repairs by ensuring customer concerns are correctly documented and communicated to technical teams.
- Build strong customer relationships that improve satisfaction, trust, repeat service visits, and long‑term retention.
- Upsell relevant products and services responsibly while matching recommendations to customer needs and vehicle condition.
- Handle customer questions, delays, concerns, and complaints professionally to protect service quality and brand confidence.
- Maintain accurate customer records, job cards, service details, system updates, and communication notes.
- Ensure compliance with service department SOPs, dealer processes, data accuracy standards, and customer handling guidelines.
- Work toward service revenue, customer satisfaction, retention, and departmental performance targets.
- Coordinate vehicle delivery readiness with workshop teams to support on‑time handover and a smooth customer experience.
- Keep customers informed about required approvals, additional repair findings, parts availability, and expected completion times.
- Support teamwork across service reception, workshop, parts, warranty, and aftersales operations.
- Maintain a customer‑first approach during high‑volume service periods while managing multiple vehicles and requests.
Ideal Profile
- Diploma or bachelor degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer‑facing aftersales role.
- Strong technical understanding of passenger vehicles, service operations, repair processes, and maintenance requirements.
- Experience working in a dealership, authorized service centre, or professional automotive workshop environment.
- Good customer service, relationship management, and communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical information, repair work, costs, and service recommendations in simple customer‑friendly language.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to support revenue targets through responsible upselling and service retention.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage customer concerns calmly and professionally.
- Organised and detail‑focused, with the ability to handle multiple customers, job cards, and follow‑ups at the same time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with dealer management systems is an advantage.
- Fluency in English is required; basic Arabic communication skills are an advantage.
