Job summary

DMC seeks a Technical Sales Engineer – Pump in Dubai, UAE. You will demonstrate pump technologies to end users, contractors and consultants, size pumps, perform calculations, and prepare proposals. A strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering with 8–15 years in pump sales and UAE experience is required.

Role involves building relationships with customers, understanding project needs, and driving sales targets within the UAE market. A valid UAE driving license is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 8–15 years of experience in pump sales.
• 2–4 years of UAE experience selling pumps to end users, contractors and consultants.
• Strong technical knowledge of pumps, water treatment systems, and swimming pool applications.
• Must hold a valid UAE driving license.
• Strong communication, negotiation and customer relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate pump features, benefits and applications to end users, contractors and consultants in water treatment and swimming pool segments.
• Understand customer requirements (flow rate, head, fluid type, temperature, viscosity) and recommend suitable pump types.
• Perform pump sizing, head calculations, NPSH analysis, and pump selection using manufacturer software.
• Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, quotations and bid documents.
• Troubleshoot pump performance issues and provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
• Develop and maintain relationships with end users, contractors and consultants to identify opportunities and meet sales targets.
