Job summary

PWORLD Jobs & Education in Dubai seeks a dynamic Technical Sales Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in Electrical and Control Systems. You will prepare technical and commercial proposals for turnkey projects, translating customer requirements into engineering solutions and supporting the sales team through the project lifecycle.

The role focuses on MEP systems, airport equipment, and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with IEC, BS, IEEE and local regulations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in technical sales engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering, HVAC, and MEP systems.
• Experience with proposing turnkey solutions and cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQs, specs, drawings and tender documents to develop compliant technical and commercial proposals.
• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, pricing sheets and commercial summaries.
• Develop technical solutions and prepare compliance statements, SLDs, control schematics, and system architecture drawings.
• Select suitable electrical and control system equipment and coordinate with OEMs and suppliers for technical and commercial support.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, BS, IEEE, NEC and local authority regulations.
• Develop complete technical and commercial proposals, including engineering solutions, BOQs, cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Provide technical support to the sales team and participate in customer meetings and tender clarifications.
• Support project handover, engineering, procurement, execution, commissioning and after-sales activities.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring and continuous improvement of engineering solutions.

Experience Required: 3–5 Years Salary Range: Depending on experience Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Technical Sales Engineer with strong expertise in Electrical and Control Systems. The candidate will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals for turnkey solution projects. The role involves understanding customer requirements, developing engineering solutions, selecting appropriate equipment, coordinating with suppliers, preparing cost estimates, and supporting the sales team throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of electrical engineering, HVAC systems, industrial controls, low-voltage power distribution, and system integration. The role involves working on Airport Equipment and MRO Hangar and infrastructure developments, ensuring all electrical works comply with project specifications, local regulations, and international standards. The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise in MEP systems, and possess excellent communication skills, strong technical understanding, and the ability to convert technical solutions into commercial opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop complete technical and commercial proposals, including engineering solutions, BOQs, cost estimates, technical documentation, compliance statements, and tender submissions. Prepare and review engineering documentation, including technical submittals, material datasheets, method statements, BOMs, and engineering calculations.
• Provide technical support to the sales team, participate in customer meetings, technical presentations, and tender clarification discussions.
• Support project handover, engineering, procurement, execution, commissioning, FAT/SAT, and after-sales technical activities.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and continuous improvement of engineering solutions and processes.
