Job summary

GAL in Abu Dhabi is seeking a data management professional to oversee the delivery and control of technical publications data. You will ensure currency, compliance, and timely distribution of data to internal teams and customers.

The role involves coordinating with internal stakeholders, maintaining Edoc/IETP/ETP systems, and driving process improvements while leading a team in a quality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing technical publications data and deliverables
• Ability to maintain control and audit readiness for publications
• Knowledge of publications lifecycle and data accuracy
• Experience coordinating with internal teams and customers

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical data delivery to support operations
• Monitor technical publications and manuals to meet internal and customer needs
• Collect, register, upload, and sustain technical data
• Verify currency of materials before issuing to function or customer
• Receive SBs/ADs and verify applicability per internal process
• Prepare purchase requests for new publications or updates
• Monitor inventory and report discrepancies to Library Supervisor
• Ensure technical data loads to Edoc, IETP, and ETP systems
• Drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency in processes
• Maintain pilots and first-line manuals updated
• Prepare and distribute required reports
• Report data deficiencies to OEM and follow up updates
• Maintain compliance with audit and quality standards
• Lead and develop staff performance and training
