Job summary

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Document Controller to lead and manage the document control function across EPC projects, ensuring efficient handling, tracking, distribution and archiving in line with client standards and company procedures.

You will establish procedures, supervise the EDMS (Aconex, SharePoint, Documentum), coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction and subcontractors, and drive accuracy, traceability and timely deliverables for complex oil &

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Information Management or Business Administration.
• 10-18 years of experience in document control within EPC projects.
• Minimum 5-8 years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the document control function across EPC projects.
• Establish and implement document control procedures, workflows and systems.
• Administer EDMS platforms (Aconex, SharePoint, Documentum) and configure workflows.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QA/QC and subcontractors for timely submissions and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, audit requirements and traceability.
• Provide reporting, dashboards and KPIs for management review.
• Lead and develop the document control team and ensure timely deliverables.
• Oversee archiving and handover of final project documentation.
