Job summary

GLOBAL AEROSPACE LOGSITICS, LLC 2020 in the UAE seeks an Officer - Technical Publications to manage the publication inventories, liaise with OEMs, renew subscriptions, and ensure publications are updated for maintenance, logistics and QC across the fleet.

The role requires a thorough understanding of technical publications, audits, and adherence to SOPs, ITAR restrictions, and coordination with the Quality Control & Engineering team.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of technical publications composition.
• Experience coordinating with OEMs for updates and support.
• Familiarity with ITAR and aerospace publication control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Documents control management, including sensitive documentation destruction procedures.
• Maintain continuous communications with OEM and report discrepancies or latest status of publications.
• Perform technical publications audits to ensure inventories are updated with proper revision.
• Comply with SOPs of the company and customers in Maintenance Operations.
• Maintain contact with U.S. Army for publications requests and ITAR considerations.
• Distribute updates and revisions to affected publications across dependencies.
• Keep track of technical publications quantities distributed across bases and kits.
• Ensure the publication server content is updated and accessible 24/7.
• Provide recurring training on handling technical publications.
• Process all technical publications requests.
• Maintain up-to-date manuals and publications for maintenance, logistics and QC.
