Job summary
Azizi Developments seeks a Technical Manager to lead the landscape and swimming pool technical function in Dubai, ensuring designs, drawings, and documentation are buildable and compliant with UAE regulations. You will manage a multidisciplinary team including BIM resources for coordinating landscape, pool, and MEP scopes.
The role requires a Civil/Landscape Engineering background with 10+ years in related projects and proven leadership in a contracting environment within the UAE.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Landscape Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- 10+ years in landscape and swimming pool projects with 3-5 years in a technical management role.
- Experience in UAE contracting firm and BIM workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical department for landscape and swimming pool projects from design review through execution
- Review, validate, and approve technical drawings and construction details before site issue
- Coordinate with design consultants, architects, and MEP teams to resolve technical discrepancies
- Manage and mentor a team of technical engineers, draftsmen, and BIM coordinators/modelers
- Allocate workload across the technical team based on project priorities and deadlines
- Oversee BIM modeling and coordination for landscape and swimming pool scopes
- Ensure clash detection and coordination between landscape, pool, and MEP/structural BIM models
- Ensure landscape and swimming pool works meet approved specifications and UAE codes
- Review contractor/subcontractor submittals and material specs
