Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced Technical Manager / Project Manager in the UAE with strong landscape, irrigation, swimming pool and MEP exposure. You will lead technical execution, review drawings and specifications, and coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and site teams to ensure delivery according to drawings, specs, quality standards and schedules.

You will supervise project engineers and site personnel, resolve technical issues, support planning and handover activities,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or related field.
• Proven UAE experience in landscape, irrigation, swimming pool or MEP construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of project execution and technical coordination.
• Experience working on villa and/or commercial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and site coordination skills.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager / Project Manager with strong experience in landscape, irrigation, swimming pooland MEP projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for technical requirements, project execution, site coordination,engineering activities, and ensuring projects are delivered according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and timelines

Desired Candidate Profile

• Manage and oversee the technical execution of landscape, irrigation, swimming pool and MEP projects.

• Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs and technical requirements.

• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.

• Supervise project engineers, supervisors and technical/site personnel.

• Monitor project progress, technical issues, materials and site requirements.

• Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings and project specifications.

• Coordinate irrigation, plumbing, mechanical and electrical works with other project disciplines.

• Review and resolve technical issues arising during project execution.

• Support project planning, scheduling, resource allocation and site coordination.

• Conduct technical inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained.

• Assist with testing, commissioning and project handover activities.

Swimming Pool / MEP Technical Responsibilities

• Pool circulation systems and hydraulic flow.

• Swimming pool turnover calculations.

• Balancing tank sizing.

• Filtration pump selection and sizing.

• Pool circulation flow-rate calculations.

• Head-loss calculations for pool circulation systems.

• Swimming pool filtration and mechanical systems.

• Strong technical knowledge of swimming pool construction and execution.

• Good knowledge of pool civil and structural works, waterproofing systems, materials, application methods, and waterproofing layers.

• Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and construction-related problems.

• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, ensuring civil, MEP, waterproofing, and finishing works.

• Ability to review and verify shop drawings, construction details, material submittals, and technical specifications.

Electrical Responsibilities

• Understand basic requirements for landscape lighting installation.

• Review electrical cable sizing and selection based on project requirements.

• Prepare/review electrical load schedules for swimming pool systems.

• Review pool control panel requirements and single-line diagrams.

• Coordinate electrical testing, inspection and commissioning before energization.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven UAE experience in landscape, irrigation, swimming pool or MEP construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of project execution and technical coordination.

• Experience working on villa and/or commercial projects.

• Strong understanding of plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.

• Strong problem-solving and site coordination skills.

• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
