Job summary

Gardinia Contracting in Dubai seeks an experienced BIM Coordinator to manage MEP BIM processes for landscape and pool projects. You will coordinate MEP/irrigation/pool models, ensure alignment with BEP, and support design accuracy and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in MEP BIM coordination with focus on landscape and swimming pool construction projects.
• Proven UAE experience essential, familiarity with Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Civil Defence, Trakhees as applicable.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD; knowledge of BIM 360/ACC or similar CDE platforms.
• Strong understanding of ISO 19650 / BS 1192 BIM standards and LOD frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of pool hydraulics, irrigation networks, drainage, and electrical/low current services for landscape environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and coordinate MEP BIM models (Revit/Navisworks) for landscape and pool projects.
• Perform multidisciplinary clash detection and coordination with Navisworks or similar tools.
• Coordinate with landscape consultants, pool contractors, MEP subcontractors, and irrigation specialists for model accuracy.
• Review and validate shop drawings, coordinated drawings, and MEP models against design intent and site conditions.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings (ICE sessions) and document issues, decisions, actions.
• Ensure BIM models comply with project standards and data requirements (BS 1192 / ISO 19650).
• Extract and manage MEP quantities, coordinate drawings, and 2D outputs from BIM models for construction.
• Support site teams with coordinated model outputs and clash-resolution reports.
• Maintain version control and model federation across disciplines in CDE platforms.
• Coordinate with BIM Manager to align with overall BIM strategy and milestones.
• Identify design/coordination risks early, especially pool hydraulics and underground utilities.
