Jumeirah Al Naseem in Dubai is seeking a Team Leader (Rooms Controller) to coordinate daily room allocations with Front Office, Housekeeping and Reservations, pre-assign rooms for VIPs, and monitor room status to optimize inventory and guest experience.

The ideal candidate has Rooms Controller experience in a large 5-star property, a high school diploma, strong organizational skills, and fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as Rooms Controller in a large 5-star property.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Business Administration background preferred.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily room allocations with Front Office, Housekeeping and Reservations to optimize inventory.
• Pre-assign rooms based on guest profiles, prioritizing VIPs and repeat guests, and manage room moves.
• Monitor and update room status in the system, including early departures, extensions, or maintenance issues.
• Liaise with Housekeeping and Engineering to ensure timely room readiness and resolution of maintenance concerns.
• Support Front Office during peak times and collaborate on upselling and upgrade opportunities to boost revenue.
• Prepare and share daily operational reports, attend briefings, and ensure all actions align with brand standards for guest experience.

About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader (Rooms Controller) to join Jumeirah Al Naseem.The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Coordinate daily room allocations with Front Office, Housekeeping, and Reservations to optimize inventory usage

• Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in additional languages is desirable
