Role Context
The selected educators will support high-quality curriculum delivery, student achievement, assessment, classroom management, safeguarding, and continuous school improvement. Heads of Department and coordinators will guide subject teams, monitor instructional standards, analyze student performance, and strengthen curriculum consistency across relevant grade levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons aligned with CBSE curriculum requirements.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, assessments, and differentiated learning activities.
- Create engaging classroom experiences that support student participation and measurable progress.
- Monitor attainment, identify learning gaps, and provide appropriate academic intervention.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessment, progress, and student support.
- Apply effective classroom management and child safeguarding procedures.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet varied learning abilities and educational needs.
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, colleagues, and school leadership.
- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, school events, and improvement initiatives.
- Support inclusive education and students with additional learning requirements.
- Contribute to academic enrichment, extracurricular activities, and school community programmes.
- Follow school policies, CBSE standards, KHDA requirements, and professional expectations.
Leadership and Coordinator Responsibilities
- Lead curriculum planning, subject development, and instructional improvement.
- Review schemes of work, lesson plans, classroom practice, and assessment outcomes.
- Conduct lesson observations and provide constructive professional feedback.
- Coordinate curriculum coverage, subject resources, assessment schedules, and moderation activities.
- Coach and mentor teachers to strengthen instructional quality and student engagement.
- Analyse departmental performance data and implement targeted improvement measures.
- Prepare academic evidence and documentation for internal reviews and KHDA inspections.
- Promote collaboration, accountability, and consistent teaching standards across the department.
- Support professional development sessions and subject-specific training.

Ideal Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in the relevant subject or education field.
- Bachelor of Education or another recognized teaching qualification.
- Minimum 1-2 years of UAE teaching experience is preferred.
- Relevant leadership experience is required for Head of Department and Coordinator roles.
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum is advantageous.
- Familiarity with KHDA standards and Dubai school requirements is preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge appropriate to the selected position.
- Effective classroom management and student engagement capabilities.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
