Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate Microsoft NAV, Business Central, Dynamics 365, CRM, and cloud-related system activities across existing and newly expanding IKEA operations.
• Support ERP upgrade programs and migration from legacy applications to modern Microsoft platforms.
• Plan and execute data migration activities while preserving accuracy, completeness, integrity, and business continuity.
• Apply data governance, security, and validation controls throughout migration and implementation activities.
• Work with functional heads and business users to understand operational requirements and identify technology needs.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and technical design documentation.
• Develop, configure, customize, or coordinate application enhancements required to support retail business processes.
• Ensure Microsoft NAV, Business Central, Dynamics 365, and cloud projects are delivered according to agreed scope, timelines, cost expectations, and quality standards.
• Follow established project delivery methodology for implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and technical changes.
• Identify inefficient workflows and recommend system or process improvements that increase productivity and reduce manual effort.
• Align proposed improvements with Al-Futtaim Group standards and IKEA operational guidelines.
• Provide ongoing application support for ERP, CRM, databases, integrations, and related business systems.
• Diagnose system incidents and resolve functional or technical issues affecting business operations.
• Administer and support SQL databases used by enterprise applications.
• Monitor database performance and perform appropriate tuning to maintain availability and response times.
• Use Performance Monitor and other diagnostic tools to identify system bottlenecks and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Design, support, and test API integrations between ERP systems and connected applications.
• Validate integration accuracy, exception handling, and data synchronization across connected platforms.
• Support cloud-based operations within Microsoft Azure or AWS environments where required.
• Contribute to CI-CD processes using Azure DevOps or equivalent deployment and development tools.
• Support testing activities including functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance coordination.
• Maintain technical documentation covering configurations, integrations, workflows, customizations, and support procedures.
• Coordinate with business and technology stakeholders across the UAE, Qatar, Egypt, and Oman to maintain consistent system practices.
• Support expansion projects by ensuring business applications, data, integrations, and infrastructure dependencies are operational before store launch.

Ideal Profile

Candidates should hold a graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline and bring at least 7 years of experience in business analysis, system design, application development, and ERP implementation.
