Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of building construction, materials, systems and trade practices.
• Understanding of sustainable building goals and objectives.
• Local Authority knowledge and understanding.
• Good HSE awareness.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect structural works to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Review shop drawings, inspection requests, and method statements from the contractor.
• Maintain a non-conformance register and oversee remedial work by Contractors.
• Monitor field variations and inform Senior Resident Engineer of changes.
• Record documentation of all work, tests, inspections, safety, and site activities.
• Ensure Contractor compliance with Safety Program and applicable safety regulations.
