Job summary

Stantec in Dubai is seeking a Structural Inspector to ensure that building projects meet quality standards and codes. You will conduct inspections, review plans, and document results.

The role requires a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree and 5–7 years of structural quality experience, with Healthcare projects a plus. You will work with architects, engineers and contractors to address issues and ensure safety, quality, and project timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in construction quality control, specifically structural inspection.
• Healthcare project experience (hospitals/clinics/labs) is a plus.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of construction activities, materials and processes to ensure quality standards.
• Review project plans, specifications and contracts to understand requirements.
• Perform tests on materials (concrete, steel, etc.) to evaluate structural integrity.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results and non-conformance reports.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and contractors to address quality issues and ensure corrective actions.
