Job summary

Stantec in Dubai is seeking a Structural Inspector to ensure that building projects meet quality standards and codes. You will conduct inspections, review plans, and document results.

The role requires a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree and 5–7 years of structural quality experience, with Healthcare projects a plus. You will work with architects, engineers and contractors to address issues and ensure safety, quality, and project timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in construction quality control, specifically structural inspection.
• Healthcare project experience (hospitals/clinics/labs) is a plus.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and industry standards.

The Structural Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all building construction projects meet the specified quality standards codes and regulations. The inspector will conduct thorough assessments inspections and evaluations of building materials workmanship and structural designs to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of construction activities materials and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Review project plans specifications and contracts to understand project requirements.
• Perform tests on materials (concrete steel etc.) to evaluate structural integrity and quality.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections test results and non-conformance reports.
