Job summary

Black & Grey HR, partnering with a leading diversified oil & gas services group in the UAE, seeks an experienced Head of Strategy to lead corporate strategy, business planning, portfolio optimization, and strategic transformation across its diverse businesses.

You will work closely with the Group CEO, Board, and senior leaders to identify growth opportunities, drive performance and long‑term value creation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
12+ years in corporate strategy, management consulting, or transformation within oil & gas.
UAE experience mandatory and experience engaging with Boards/CEOs.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead the Group's corporate strategy aligned with long-term objectives.
Lead strategic planning, annual business planning, and performance management.
Evaluate investments, partnerships, and M&A opportunities.
Conduct market research and competitive intelligence for executive decisions.
Lead feasibility studies for new ventures and strategic initiatives.
Drive portfolio optimization, value creation, and transformation programs.
Monitor KPIs and present insights to the Board and executives.
Collaborate with finance, operations, legal and business leaders to execute priorities.
Lead cross-functional strategic projects including restructuring and expansion.
Build a high-performing strategy function and foster innovation.
