Job summary

Wahed Inc. in the UAE is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the operational build-out of our values-based wealth management platform.

This is a hands‑on, high‑ownership role responsible for delivering new features, integrations and improvements that scale the platform. You will work with Investments and Operations teams to own end‑to‑end delivery, build processes, controls and operating model to support growth in the UAE, including payments, banking and compliance workflows.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in fintech/platform operations or wealth management operations.
• Experience running ops for a digital platform with money flows and health monitoring.
• Hands-on experience leading integrations and product launches, coordinating multiple teams.
• Familiarity with UAE onshore/DIFC/ADGM and/or UK FCA frameworks is a plus.
• Strong process design skills to build controls and audit trails from scratch.
• Natural owner of end-to-end issues, coordinating Customer Support, Product/Engineering and partners.
• Excellent accuracy and detail orientation, maintaining flows and reconciliations.
• Highly organized with ability to prioritise in a lean, fast-paced environment.
• Interest in Shariah-compliant finance is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end operational delivery of payments and banking initiatives with strong controls.
• Define requirements, coordinate with central Product and Engineering, and drive launches and post-launch monitoring.
• Ensure new capabilities are operationally ready and continuously improve processes and service levels.
• Document and embed scalable operating procedures, controls and audit trails for growth.
• Develop scalable, well‑controlled reconciliation routines and incident management, with Support alignment.
• Manage relationships with banking, payment, custody, technology and KYC partners.
