Job summary

Wahed Invest UAE is seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager to drive the operational build-out of a values-based wealth platform in the UAE. You will own end-to-end delivery, build processes, controls and an operating model to scale the business while collaborating with Investments and Operations teams.

You will manage day-to-day operations, track key metrics, coordinate KYC, onboarding, trading, and portfolio workflows, and partner with Product, Marketing and Legal to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 4–7 years in operations or fintech.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and multi-stakeholder projects.
• Strong grasp of budgets, P&L, and vendor management.
• Knowledge of UAE financial services or fintech is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day UAE operations and overall performance of Wahed’s UAE business.
• Monitor country P&L, budgets, revenue, expenditure and vendor costs with Finance.
• Track key metrics: customer acquisition, assets under management, revenue, usage.
• Coordinate operations across KYC, onboarding, deposits, withdrawals, trading, portfolio management, reconciliations and support.
• Identify issues and coordinate teams to resolve within timelines.
• Collaborate with Product/Tech to localise and improve UAE user journey.
• Coordinate with Marketing on local campaigns, partnerships and growth.
• Onboard new vendors, conduct due diligence, contracts and approvals.
• Manage vendor relationships, service levels and costs.
• Support negotiations to improve terms and service delivery.
• Work with Legal, Risk, Compliance to meet regulatory requirements.
• Prepare governance/regulatory reports when required.
• Coordinate cross-functional UAE projects with clear ownership and timelines.
• Monitor feedback and data to improve customer experience and performance.
• Support local business development and represent Wahed with partners.
• Provide updates to senior management on performance and risks.
