Job summary

Taj HR is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager - Events to drive growth across the UAE market, with an established network in government, semi-government, corporate, and private sectors. The role emphasizes client acquisition, strategic partnerships, and closing high-value deals.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in events, exhibitions, advertising, or marketing, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and be based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Business Development / Sales within Events, Exhibitions, Advertising, or Marketing.
• Strong and proven knowledge of the UAE market.
• Existing and active client network is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs.
• Strong relationships with government, semi-government, corporate, and private sector clients.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
• Strong understanding of the UAE events and business landscape.
• Highly driven, results-oriented, and proactive personality.
• Ability to independently generate leads and develop new business.
• Must be currently based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities within the UAE market.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and potential clients.
• Leverage an existing client network across government, semi-government, corporate, and private sectors.
• Generate leads, arrange client meetings, and convert prospects into business opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and commercial offers.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals while achieving assigned sales targets and KPIs.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular business development reports.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within the UAE events industry.
• Collaborate with account management, creative, and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.
