Job summary

Planet Labs PBC seeks an UAE Armed Forces & Defense Account Executive to drive strategic relationships with UAE Armed Forces, MoD and allied entities. You will expand Planet’s satellite imagery, analytics, and AI-enabled Earth observation solutions across the Emirates, aligning with regional objectives.

The role requires proven defense and enterprise SaaS sales experience, deep UAE procurement knowledge, and the ability to operate in a remote-first, highly matrixed environment with frequent Abu

Qualifications

• 6+ years in defense, intelligence, or national security sectors.
• 6+ years in enterprise SaaS, DaaS, or geospatial data sales with multi-year government deals.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, international relations, or related discipline.
• Deep understanding of UAE government and defense procurement cycles.
• Ability to source opportunities and manage multi-stakeholder negotiations.
• Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and advance Planet’s relationships across UAE Armed Forces and MoD.
• Identify, qualify, negotiate, and close high-value defense deals.
• Target and capture defense programs and joint procurement opportunities.
• Maintain pipeline hygiene in Salesforce and provide quarterly/annual forecasts.
• Develop technical understanding of Planet’s EO constellation and analytics for defense needs.
• Collaborate with Pre-Sales/Solutions Engineers to craft proposals and wins.
