Job summary

Planet is seeking an UAE Armed Forces & Defense Account Executive to lead strategic relationships with the UAE Armed Forces, MoD, and allied defense stakeholders. The role focuses on driving sales of Planet’s EO data and analytics across sovereign defense accounts.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years in defense/ national security and 6+ years in enterprise SaaS sales, with a proven multi-year government closing track record. Remote with frequent Abu Dhabi presence is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in defense/intelligence/national security sectors and government defense contracting.
• 6+ years in enterprise SaaS, DaaS, or geospatial data sales with multi-year government deals.
• Deep understanding of UAE government and defense procurement cycles.

Responsibilities

• Own and advance relationships across UAE Armed Forces, MoD, and national security entities.
• Identify, qualify, negotiate, and close high-value defense programs and complex deals.
• Maintain pipeline hygiene in Salesforce and provide quarterly/annual revenue forecasts.
• Develop technical understanding of Planet’s EO data and analytics to map to military needs.
• Collaborate with Pre-Sales and Solutions Engineers to deliver compelling proposals.
