LevelUP HCS is seeking a Manager of Business Development focused on AI and Space Ground Systems in Abu Dhabi. You will shape opportunities from initial conversations through contract award, engaging senior defence and government stakeholders.

You’ll build BD plans for ground stations and AI-enabled ISR, identify new customers regionally and internationally, and lead capture with engineering to craft compelling proposals.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in business development, capture, pre-sales or solutions in defence/space/tech.
• Knowledge of satellite ground systems and C4ISR/C5ISR.
• Ability to discuss technical solutions credibly with customers.
• Experience with UAE/GCC defence customers is a strong advantage.

A leading UAE defence and advanced technology organisation is hiring a Business Development Manager to grow its AI-enabled space and ground systems portfolio. You will shape opportunities from first customer conversation through to contract award, working with senior defence and government stakeholders.

What you’ll do

• Build and execute the business development plan for ground station, ground segment and AI-enabled ISR solutions
• Identify and qualify new customers, partners and opportunities across regional and international markets
• Lead capture activity, working with engineering teams to shape technical and commercial proposals
• Build and maintain relationships with defence, security and government customers
• Maintain a healthy pipeline and feed market intelligence back into the strategy

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years’ experience in business development, capture, pre-sales or solutions roles in defence, space or advanced technology
• Working knowledge of satellite ground systems, C4ISR/C5ISR, sensing or AI applications in defence
• Systems-integration or solution-architecture experience, with the ability to discuss technical solutions credibly with customers
• Experience with UAE or GCC defence customers and procurement is a strong advantage
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management skills
