Job summary

Saabgroup UAE is seeking a seasoned Business Development & Sales Manager to lead the UAE land portfolio. You will drive capture strategies for C-UAS and Training & Simulation, integrating sensors, C2 and effectors to meet customer threat pictures.

You will build long-term partnerships, navigate export rules, and coordinate with Saab units and trade compliance to win programs in the Middle East.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in defense sales, business development or capture.
• Degree in business or engineering or equivalent military qualification.
• Experience negotiating defense contracts and complex proposals.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with Land Forces, MoD and defense agencies.
• Identify opportunities and own capture from first meeting to signed contract.
• Shape complete C-UAS solutions across sensors, C2 and effectors.
• Position training & simulation as a separate capability and raise readiness.
• Coordinate proposals, pricing, and align with Sweden and other units.
• Translate operator needs into customer-ready solutions and speak customer language.
