Job summary

Planet seeks an UAE-based UAE Armed Forces & Defense Account Executive to manage strategic relationships with the UAE Armed Forces, MoD, and defense stakeholders. You will drive customer acquisition and expansion for Planet's earth observation solutions across the Emirates, aligning mission needs with commercial capabilities.

Based in the UAE (Abu Dhabi preferred), this is a full-time remote role requiring regular local presence.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in defense, intelligence, or national security roles.
• 6+ years in enterprise SaaS or geospatial data sales with government deals.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Deep knowledge of UAE defense procurement cycles.
• Ability to manage multi-stakeholder opportunities and pricing negotiations.
• Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and advance UAE Armed Forces relationships across the defense ecosystem.
• Identify, qualify, negotiate, and close complex government deals.
• Capture current and upcoming defense programs in partnership with primes.
• Maintain pipeline hygiene and provide accurate forecasts.
• Demonstrate Planet's EO, analytics, and AI capabilities to defense stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Pre-Sales to deliver technical proposals.
