Job summary

UMI in Dubai is seeking a Sales/Business Development Executive to drive growth in the events and exhibitions sector. You will identify opportunities, build client relationships, and tailor proposals to win projects.

The role involves market research, lead generation, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver compelling solutions. Travel may be required as part of expanding the company's network at industry events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus).
• Russian language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify potential clients, trends and competitors.
• Generate leads and maintain a robust pipeline through networking, events, and online channels.
• Build and nurture relationships with clients; tailor solutions to client needs and budgets.
• Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations to win projects.
• Lead negotiations and coordinate handover with project management.
• Maintain activity records and forecast sales targets for senior management.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
