Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to lead the stewarding team. You will supervise dishwashing, hygiene, equipment care, and stock control in back-of-house areas, ensuring safety and high service standards in a luxury hotel environment.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Hospitality/Hotel Management (or equivalent), at least 2 years in a stewarding supervisory role in a five-star property, and experience in the Middle East.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a stewarding supervisory role in a five-star luxury hotel.
• Experience in the Middle East (UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar) or other GCC country.
• Ability to inspire and manage large, multicultural teams while maintaining service excellence.
• Strong organizational skills and knowledge of hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stewarding operations, schedule tasks, coordinate with other departments, and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Supervise dishwashing, waste disposal, and hygiene across back-of-house areas.
• Manage stock and inventory, control chemical usage, and support cost-efficiency.
• Support safety, health and environmental standards, HACCP/FLHSSE compliance, and incident reporting.
• Attend meetings and assist with last-minute requirements and additional duties as needed.
