Job summary

Novotel Dubai Al Barsha is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor - Hygiene Operations in Dubai to lead daily stewarding activities, safeguard hygiene standards and ensure kitchens, restaurants and storage areas are clean, organized and properly equipped.

You will supervise the stewarding team, coordinate with Culinary and Restaurant Management, monitor equipment and inventory, enforce safety procedures and train new staff to maintain high service levels in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and equipment care.
• Experience supervising stewarding or food service operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily stewarding activities across kitchens, restaurants, and storage areas.
• Assign duties, monitor workloads and ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Supervise cleaning and care of tableware, silverware, glassware, cookware and banquet equipment.
• Coordinate delivery and setup of equipment for services and functions.
• Review event orders and ensure equipment and supplies are prepared on time.
• Maintain coordination with Culinary and Restaurant Management during service and events.
• Inspect incoming foods and dry goods and direct storage.
• Assist inventory control and ensure food safety compliance.
• Inspect stewarding machinery and kitchen equipment daily for safety.
• Report defects and maintenance needs promptly.
