Job summary

InterContinental Residences Dubai Business Bay is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to lead the stewarding team, ensure clean and safe back-of-house areas, and support Culinary and F&B colleagues. You will manage daily duties, coach staff, and uphold HACCP compliance to deliver exceptional service.

You will be a hands-on leader who sets the standard, remains calm under pressure, and collaborates with other departments to ensure smooth opening, service, and closing procedures.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hotel stewarding or similar hospitality experience.
• Previous experience as a Stewarding Supervisor, Senior Steward, or Team Leader.
• Luxury/upscale hotel or residential hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, dishwashing, and back-of-house operations.
• GCC/Dubai experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and allocate daily stewarding duties.
• Conduct briefings and provide coaching and support.
• Monitor attendance, grooming, performance, and productivity.
• Lead by example, especially during busy periods.
• Ensure kitchens and back-of-house areas are clean and organised.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP compliance.
• Ensure crockery, cutlery, glassware, utensils, and equipment are ready for service.
• Monitor correct use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance, safety, and operational issues promptly.
• Work closely with Culinary, F&B, Engineering, and other departments.
