The Senior Manager, CEMEA Cost of Volume (COV) Planning will play a key role within the CEMEA Planning Center of Excellence (COE). Reporting to the CEMEA Planning COE Regional Partner (Sr. Director), this role is responsible for regional Cost of Volume forecasting, baseline development, governance, reporting, and planning cycle execution. The role serves as the regional owner for COV baseline quality, exception management, consolidation of local overlays, and submission readiness, partnering with FP&A, CoE Global, FSS, DSG, and business stakeholders to drive forecasting accuracy, process consistency, and continuous improvement.

Essential Functions

• Cost of Volume Baseline & Reforecasting: Own regional COV baselines and AI-driven reforecasting; review discounts, waivers, and exceptions; validate assumptions and forecast drivers.
• Pricing & Commercial Analysis: Support pricing and baseline reviews; assess commercial impacts, market dynamics, and key COV drivers.
• Allocations, Mapping & Validation: Validate allocations, mappings, hedging logic, and data quality; ensure alignment with global methodologies and reporting standards.
• Forecasting & Planning Cycles: Coordinate forecast updates, quality reviews, local overlays, and submission readiness; support variance analysis across forecasts and actuals.
• Monthly Close & Outlook Reporting: Deliver review materials, commentary, and insights on COV performance, risks, and baseline changes.
• Cycle Governance, FX & Risk Management: Manage FX, mix, and risk assessments; review exceptions and ensure governance and submission quality.
• Transformation & Project Management: Serve as the regional COV lead; partner with FP&A, CoE Global, FSS, and DSG to enhance methodologies, data quality, automation, and planning tools.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial planning processes, methodologies, and best practices, as well as proficiency with financial planning tools and technologies.
• Strong understanding of Visa systems, planning processes, and data sources.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive process improvement initiatives.
• Ability to operate with high credibility in Visa’s matrixed environment, with clear accountability and decision rights.
• Ability to identify opportunities to standardize key FP&A processes and improve efficiency across the finance organization
• Experience in the financial services industry, with knowledge of industry-specific trends and challenges.
• Experience with advanced forecasting techniques, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling to support baseline revenue planning.
• Experience implementing or optimizing financial planning systems and processes.
