Job summary

Met T&S Ltd. in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Spare Parts Planner to manage the spare parts plan across EPC Oil & Gas projects.

You will coordinate with engineering, procurement and vendors to deliver approved spares and hand over complete documentation. The role requires a Bachelor in Engineering, 10+ years in EPC/refinery environments, and strong communication with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and accuracy of spare parts lists.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years’ work experience.
• Significant experience in EPC Oil & Gas projects/Refinery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit spare parts plan at the start of each project.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for spare parts review, purchase, delivery and handover to client.
• Identify PO items requiring spare parts and liaise for final RSPL items.
• Instruct engineering and vendors on spare parts requirements.
• Obtain RSPL from vendors and review documents before approval.
• Review spare parts documents (P.O., datasheets, drawings, P&ID, BOM, nameplate details).
• Advise vendors as per spare parts guidelines.
• Coordinate with engineering during technical review and approval.
• Resolve queries in spare parts documents as needed.
• Lead weekly/bi-weekly spare parts status meetings.
• Provide reports and updates on spare parts to company and engineering team.
• Submit approved spare parts documents in a timely manner.
• Review files for purchase of approved spare parts before PR/PO.
• Follow delivery of spare parts and prepare materials for handover.

Duties and responsibilities

Prepare and submit to company the spare parts plan at the start of each project.

Coordinatewith different stakeholders to have a smooth spare parts review and approval, purchase of approved spares, delivery and hand over to client all approvedspares.

IdentifyingPO items which will require spare parts and liaise with company for the finallist of applicable spare parts list items.

Instruct engineering and vendors on the spare parts list requirements as per companyprocedures.

Obtains the recommended spare parts list (RSPL) from vendors and review documentthoroughly before submitting to company for approval.

Review of the spare parts document which includes purchase order, data sheets, drawings,P&ID, bill of materials, nameplate details, priced spare parts list and catalogues.

Advise vendors for spare requirements as per company spare parts guidelines.

Coordinateswith engineering team during technical review and approval of the spare parts document.

Resolves anyqueries or deficiencies in the spare parts document as identified by company materials standardization division.

Preside on weekly or bi ‐ weekly spare parts status meeting with stakeholders.

Provides reports and updates of the spare parts to company and engineering team.

Submit allapproved spare parts document to company accordingly and timely.

Review filefor purchase from company for approved spare parts list before requestingPR/PO for the approved spare parts lists.

Follow the spare parts delivery and prepare materials for hand over to company.

Handover to company the spare parts complete with necessary documents.

Knowledge & Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in any Engineering.

Experience

• Minimumof 10 year's work experience.
• Significantexperience in in a similar position on EPC Oil & Gas projects /Refinery.
