Job summary

Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab in Dubai is seeking a guest-facing front desk professional to join our luxury hospitality team. You will welcome guests, manage check-in and check-out, and coordinate with Housekeeping, Concierge, F&B and other departments to ensure seamless stays.

The ideal candidate has at least one year in guest-facing roles in luxury settings, superb communication skills, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a guest-facing role within luxury hospitality, hotels, resorts, or upscale leisure environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to handling guest requests and service recovery.
• Passion for delivering personalized guest experiences and maintaining the highest service standards.
• Proficiency in English is essential; additional language skills are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and manage check-in/check-out processes accurately and efficiently.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, ensuring personalized service.
• Coordinate with other departments (Housekeeping, Concierge, Executive Lounge, Recreation, F&B) to fulfill guest needs.
• Handle special requests such as transportation, dining reservations, and amenities.
• Resolve minor guest complaints professionally and escalate the complex issues when necessary.
• Promote hotel services and amenities, upselling where appropriate.
