Job summary

Remotedxb is seeking a technical lead to oversee application development and manage engineers. You will be responsible for coordinating activities across internal teams and guiding the design and deployment of enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience in application development, strong skills in programming languages like Java and CI/CD technologies, and a proven track record in Agile environments.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor developers, QA engineers, and automation engineers
• Coordinate development activities across internal teams and vendor resources
• Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise web applications
• Support CI/CD improvements, automation initiatives, and application modernization efforts
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across application development and system integrations
• Ensure development activities align with federal security and compliance requirements
• Track technical risks, dependencies, and delivery progress

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree and 10+ years of experience in application and/or system development
• 5+ years experience managing technical teams in an Agile environment
• Expertise in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript frameworks, SQL, Rest APIs and CI/CD technologies
• Strong experience leading Agile software development efforts in large enterprise or federal environments
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes, CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and enterprise application architecture

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of low code application platforms (Appian, Salesforce, Pega, etc.)
• Experience working with CMS/Medicare systems
• Proven experience in U.S. federal government contracting environments
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
