Job summary

Remotedxb is seeking an experienced software developer to design, implement, test, and maintain clinical applications within the IHS RPMS system. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver complex software solutions and ensure accessibility and user training materials are prepared.

The role requires 8+ years of development experience in FileMan/M/Cache, with strong analytical and collaboration skills for remote teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of software development experience in FileMan/M/Cache.
• Experience in information system requirements analysis, design, implementation and testing.
• Ability to translate design artifacts into usable code.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug software within the IHS RPMS system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deploy and support clinical applications.
• Analyze and recommend technical solutions for design, network, and security issues.
• Support UI accessibility requirements.
• Create input for technical documentation and user training.
• Troubleshoot complex problems and provide customer support.
• Prepare reports on analyses, findings, and project progress.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies.

Responsibilities

• Work with a multidisciplinary team of developers to design, program, deploy, and support clinical applications within the IHS RPMS system
• Design, develop, code, test, and debug complex new software products or enhance existing software
• Analyze and recommend technical solutions for application design issues, including network and security considerations
• Support application user interface accessibility requirements
• Provide input for technical documentation such as user manuals and training materials
• Troubleshoot complex problems and provide customer support for clinical applications
• Prepare reports on analyses, findings, and project progress
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 8+ years of Software Development experience in FileMan/M/Cache
• Experience in information system requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing
• Ability to translate design artifacts into usable code

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the healthcare sector
• Advanced knowledge of VA and IHS environments, RPMS, CPRS, or legacy VISTA
• Understanding of Agile processes and the related QA lifecycle
• Working knowledge of Team Foundation Server and/or Azure DevOps
• Proven ability to work on a remote/distributed team
