Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a Sea Logistics Sales Representative to drive new business with SMEs and manage pricing, quotations, and customer onboarding. You will present our Sea Logistics products, maintain strong client relationships, and collaborate with Care Teams to deliver robust handovers.

The role requires a minimum bachelor's degree, 5+ years in logistics sales, and excellent English, with travel and a valid driving license.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 5 years of extensive track record of professional experience and success as field sales representative in forwarding/logistics.
• A valid driving license and able to travel.
• Excellent negotiating and closure skills, ability to work on your own initiative and in a highly organized way.
• A good knowledge of spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Generating new business opportunities with a clear focus on SMEs.
• Taking pricing decisions in alignment with the Customer Care Managers.
• Preparing quotations using our online tools and submitting our proposals to customers.
• Demonstrating superior Sea Logistics product and trade knowledge.
• Delivering presentations about our main Sea Logistics products.
• Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing and products.
• Reporting customer complaints to the Customer Care Team.
• Aligning with the Customer Care Team when onboarding new customers and providing robust and complete content in the Customer Promise/CCL handover form.
• Using CoreLOG to maintain and update customer information.
• Performing the related CRM tasks/activities. Regularly reviewing the customers’ portfolio with the CCL managers and Customer Care Team.
• Closing customer deals.
