Job summary

Cordant Digital Solutions in Dubai (via Baker Hughes) seeks a Software Deployment Leader to drive end-to-end deployments from post-sales handoff to go-live and value realization. You will lead cross-functional teams of consultants, data scientists, engineers, and domain experts, maintaining strong customer relationships and governance throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in consulting, software implementation, professional services, customer success, or digital delivery leadership roles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead matrixed teams and influence stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
• Experience managing executive-level customer relationships, including steering committees and escalations.
• Experience managing project scope, budgets, commercial performance, and change control processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Cordant Digital Solutions deployments from post-sales handoff through project completion.
• Build and lead cross-functional project teams including consultants, configuration specialists, data scientists, domain experts, and engineers.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk registers.
• Manage governance activities including steering committees, executive reviews, status reporting, and milestone assessments.
• Serve as the primary customer point of contact throughout the deployment lifecycle.
• Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders and executive sponsors to drive adoption and business value realization.
• Manage risk identification, mitigation planning, issue resolution, and escalation processes.
• Oversee scope management and change control while protecting commercial commitments and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor project financial performance, utilization, and cost-to-serve metrics with finance and commercial teams.
• Coordinate with internal leaders to secure resources and resolve delivery challenges.
• Ensure delivery quality across configuration, data science, engineering, and consulting workstreams.
• Support customer training, knowledge transfer, and post-go-live adoption activities.
• Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of deployment methodologies.

As a Software Deployment Leader (SDL), you will serve as the single point of accountability for the successful delivery of Cordant Digital Solutions deployments from contract signature through go-live, adoption, and value realization. You will lead cross-functional teams, build trusted customer relationships, and drive successful project execution across complex enterprise environments.

As a Software Deployment Leader, you will be responsible for:

• Leading end-to-end delivery of Cordant Digital Solutions deployments from post-sales handoff through project completion.
• Building and leading cross-functional project teams consisting of consultants, configuration specialists, data scientists, domain experts, and engineers.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Have 8+ years of experience delivering complex software, technology, or digital transformation projects for enterprise or industrial customers.
• Have experience in consulting, software implementation, professional services, customer success, or digital delivery leadership roles.
• Demonstrate experience leading matrixed teams and influencing stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
• Have experience managing executive-level customer relationships, including steering committees and escalations.
• Have experience managing project scope, budgets, commercial performance, and change control processes.
• Be an effective communicator with strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• Be willing to travel up to 30-50% based on project and customer requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within industrial sectors such as Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Chemicals, Manufacturing, or related industries.
• Exposure to Industrial IoT, Asset Performance Management (APM), Predictive Maintenance, or Digital Transformation solutions.
• Familiarity with enterprise software implementation lifecycles including integration, data migration, configuration, UAT, go-live, and hypercare.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent project/program management certification.
• Experience establishing new delivery processes, methodologies, or operating models.
• Travel Requirement: Up to 30-50% depending on customer engagements and project needs.
