• Knowledge of rotating electrical machines (MV-HV motors/generators) and related systems.
• Ability to interpret customer economics and specs into competitive technical offerings.
• Ability to analyze and resolve problems and lead programs/projects.
• Fluent in English (oral & written) with strong communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with collaborative style across levels.
• Willingness to travel regionally and internationally to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage preparation and negotiation of BH technical proposals and budget estimation.
• Define technical project strategy influencing customers toward BH solutions.
• Prepare best technical proposals at first submission using bidding tools and innovative tech.

Engineering Senior Specialist - Customer Application Engineering, you will play a vital role in creating technical solutions that fulfill the needs of our customers. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide product/scope guidance for new requisitions. You will lead the preparation, management and negotiation of BH technical proposal relevant to Electrical components and systems.

As an Engineering Senior Specialist - Customer Application Engineering, you will be responsible for:

• Managing preparation and negotiation of BH technical proposal, being responsible for the estimation of the budget associated with the proposed solution
• Leading the definition of the technical strategy of the project thus influencing customer towards BH solutions
• Preparing the best technical proposal at first submission using bidding tools and implementing, where appropriate, innovative technology
• Leading the technical negotiation, coordinating with supporting functions and attending to meeting/presentation with customer
• Applying product and quality policies, addressing and mitigating any risks as per BH procedures

To be successful in this role you will need to:

• Have a bachelor's in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Have a minimum of 5 years in sales engineering, application engineering or electrical engineering.
• Demonstrate exceptional verbal and non-verbal communication skills for preparing proposals, conducting meetings, answering sales/customer questions and writing/explaining technical aspects
• Have a basic market/technical knowledge of rotating electrical machines (i.e. MV-HV motors and generators) and related auxiliary systems
• Be able to interpret customer economics, process and technical specifications and to translate them into competitive technical offering.
• Demonstrate ability to analyze and resolve problems and to lead programs / projects.
• Be fluent in English (oral and written) and have excellent all-round communication skills
• Have very good interpersonal and leadership skills, inclusive team working style and able to effectively interface with all levels of internal and external customers.
• Be available to travel both to regional and international locations to work with customers on site
