Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Inspector - Wet Utilities to join its Abu Dhabi project team. The role focuses on field inspection and quality monitoring of stormwater, sewerage, potable water, irrigation and related networks.

You will verify construction against approved technical requirements, witness testing, identify non-compliant work and support Engineers in maintaining progress. The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree or diploma, with practical inspection

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in wet utilities and infrastructure construction.
Strong attention to detail and on-site coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Inspect and monitor construction of stormwater, sewerage, potable water, irrigation, and associated wet utility networks.
Conduct daily site inspections to verify work complies with drawings, specs, ITPs, and project requirements.
Inspect pipelines, manholes, drainage structures, and related infrastructure works.
Review and verify Inspection Requests submitted by the Contractor and confirm readiness for inspection.
Monitor materials, workmanship, installation, bedding, backfilling, compaction, and protection of wet utilities.
Witness testing activities such as pressure and leakage tests, CCTV inspections, etc.
