Job summary

AECOM is seeking a seasoned Construction Inspector to supervise wet utility projects in Dubai. You will ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, QA/QC, and safety standards on water, sewerage, stormwater, and irrigation systems.

Responsibilities include inspections, testing, daily reporting, and coordination with engineers, contractors, and authorities. The role requires 7+ years in construction supervision and 5+ years in wet utility projects, with familiarity of UAE authorities a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction supervision and inspection experience.
• 5+ years in wet utility infrastructure projects.
• Experience in water, sewerage, stormwater, irrigation, and utility corridors.
• Experience with private developers, municipalities, or infrastructure authorities preferred.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality, DEWA, RTA and UAE utility authorities advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and supervise wet utility works per drawings, specs, QA/QC.
• Monitor excavation, pipe laying, backfilling, and manhole construction.
• Witness testing and commissioning activities (pressure, hydrostatic, CCTV).
• Review Inspection Requests and prepare daily site reports.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, authorities, and clients.
• Ensure as-built records and QA/QC compliance.
