Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Inspector – Wet Utilities to join our Abu Dhabi project team. The role involves inspecting and monitoring construction of stormwater, sewerage, potable water, irrigation networks and related works on-site.

The candidate will conduct daily site inspections, review drawings and specs, verify tests and ensure adherence to ITPs and quality requirements. UAE experience preferred; on-site work in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in wet utilities and infrastructure construction.
• Good knowledge of stormwater, sewerage, potable water, irrigation networks, and associated infrastructure works.
• Experience inspecting pipelines, manholes, drainage structures and related works.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor wet utility construction works, including stormwater, sewerage, potable water, irrigation, and associated networks.
• Conduct daily site inspections to ensure works comply with drawings, specs, method statements, ITPs, and project requirements.
• Inspect installation of pipelines, manholes, catch basins, gullies, drainage structures, and related works.
• Witness and inspect testing activities, including pressure, leakage, CCTV, and other tests.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, site activities, testing and quality issues.
