Job summary

ADNOC (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company) seeks a Senior Specialist, Warehouse Performance to optimize warehouse operations, analyze performance metrics and implement best practices. The role leads initiatives to improve inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping processes while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage the warehouse budget, and drive cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 10 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 8 years in a leadership role.
• Relevant certifications in warehouse management, supply chain management, or logistics are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement warehouse operations strategies and procedures aligned with ADNOC goals.
• Develop and deliver training programs for warehouse supervisors and staff on safety and operating procedures.
• Examine and analyze warehouse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
• Lead the execution of best practices in inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping and receiving processes.
• Advise cross-functional teams, including transportation and logistics, to ensure seamless integration between warehouse operations and other business functions.
• Review compliance with regulatory and safety requirements and execute corrective actions as needed.
• Develop and manage the warehouse operations budget, ensuring cost reduction wherever possible.
• Examine warehouse facilities and equipment to ensure they are well-maintained and in compliance with safety regulations.
• Advise on relationships with key vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts as needed.
• Analyse industry trends and developments to implement new technologies and processes as appropriate.
