Al Ghurair is seeking a Senior Vice President - Development to lead the Development Projects team in Dubai. The role focuses on translating land, market, and investment objectives into a clear product strategy and delivery across the full lifecycle of residential projects.

You will oversee feasibility, business planning, design management, sales readiness, and compliance with Dubai Building Code and RERA requirements, while guiding architects and consultants and collaborating with senior

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field; postgraduate accreditation advantageous but not essential.
• 10+ years of real estate development experience with significant Dubai residential build‑to‑sell experience.
• Experience with a leading Dubai/UAE residential developer is preferred.
• Experience across the full development lifecycle: feasibility, business planning, product definition, design management, sales launch, construction and delivery.
• Experience managing multiple developments concurrently at different stages.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai residential build‑to‑sell development, pricing and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Practical knowledge of Dubai Building Code, Dubai Municipality, DLD and RERA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Execute development strategy for new and existing projects, translating objectives into clear product, positioning, and delivery.
• Prepare and challenge feasibility assessments, briefs, and project business plans with appropriate data.
• Maintain ownership of the development business plan and identify risks and opportunities with clear recommendations.
• Apply market intelligence to product, pricing, and positioning decisions to stay commercially robust.
• Support senior management with concise analysis and options, even with evolving information.
• Lead assigned developments through full lifecycle and prioritize concurrent projects at different stages.
• Lead residential product definition, including layouts, amenities, and brands; manage consultants.
• Lead sales-launch readiness with cross-functional teams; coordinate pricing, inventory and show units.
• Maintain accurate reporting on business performance, sales, revenue, cost, and decisions.
