Job summary

Standard Chartered UAE is seeking a Client Manager to lead relationship management within the Client Delivery team. You will proactively manage daily maintenance activities on a designated client portfolio to ensure top service and health of relationships, supporting GAMs, RAMs or FAMs on an aligned client base.

Responsibilities

• Manage flow maintenance activities on client portfolio as assigned.
• Annotate on past dues and excesses daily; ensure regularization and timely cash/cheque releases.
• Act as escalation point for Unsettled FX Past Due Trades & reported failures.
• Support Loan Drawdown, Cash Management, LTP Trades (FI) and release of Trade Offerings.
• Attend ASTAR Review meetings and participate in relevant business forums.
• Lead projects to improve processes, tools and client experience.
• Ensure adherence to internal/regulatory policies (FATCA, Credit, BCA overdue).
• Identify and escalate operational risks; propose process improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Hub and Client Services to rectify issues.
• Review client activity to align with expected levels by client profile.
• Deepen understanding of credit risk, default risk, and fraud risk.
• Ensure AML and Credit documents meet CCIB standards.
• Escalate risk issues to CM Head/Lead or BORM.
• Prepare client files for audit and ensure governance controls.
