J10 Consulting is seeking experienced Consultant Structural Inspectors to join our client’s Abu Dhabi project team, focusing on high voltage/utility works across the Emirate. Candidates must have a proven track record as a Structural Inspector on similar UAE projects, and experience with supervision consultants or PMC firms.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8-10+ years of relevant experience in construction supervision of major infrastructure/utilities projects.
• Experience in an engineering consultancy or supervision consultancy.
• Strong written and oral communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications.

Responsabilités

• Attend Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action.
• Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and international best practice.
• Report works not in accordance with approved drawings and specifications and inform stakeholders.
• Monitor site quality and safety, ensuring compliance with contract/QCS specs and safety risk assessments.
• Maintain daily site records with progress photos for inspection.
