Job summary

J10 Consulting seeks experienced Consultant Structural Engineers to supervise high voltage / OHL and dry utilities works in Abu Dhabi. You will review designs, coordinate with architects and disciplines, and ensure compliance with local codes and standards.

The role requires 6+ years in structural engineering with GCC supervision experience. Immediate joining for a 3-month contract via outsourcing to J10 Consulting.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering (Minimum BSc).
• Experience 6+ years and at least 2 in UAE build projects.
• Experience in consultant supervision of projects in GCC.
• Solid background in AutoCAD and Revit with coordination through Revit.
• Ability to undertake structural inspections and report on defects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and disciplines to review structural designs meeting safety, functionality and aesthetics requirements.
• Analyze loads, stresses and forces to determine materials and design specs.
• Review detailed structural plans with CAD tools and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Obtain permits and approvals from authorities for structural aspects.
• Inspect ongoing construction and provide solutions for deviations from design.
• Maintain documentation: reports, drawings, specifications, and records of design decisions.
